Anita Timofey walked into a 24 Hour Fitness at sixteen years old and found her sport. Three months in, she was deadlifting 225. By the end of the first year, the gym was where she lived. Bodybuilding came later. Bikini came first.
In 2014 she stepped on the NPC Governors Cup stage as a teenager. Eighth and eleventh in two bikini classes. She stopped competing right after that. Seven years of training, no shows. The version of her that was going to come back didn't exist yet, because the division she belongs in didn't exist in the same shape it does now. Wellness, the division built around glute and leg development with upper-body proportion, came into the IFBB Pro League in 2021. Anita came back the same year.
She won the NPC Sacramento Championships overall in 2021. First attempt. Top five at NPC Nationals that same year. Third at the 2022 NPC USA Championships. Fourth at the 2024 NPC Nationals. Won the Sacramento Championships overall again in 2024, this time as a returning champion. The pro card is the next step. The 2026 NPC USA Championships in Las Vegas is the show.
That's the lifter THRUX is built for. The one who took seven years to come back and came back as a different competitor. The one who trains with intention, not noise. The pouch in the lip when there is no one to perform for. THRUX is a serious lifter's pouch, and Anita is the archetype.
